a Function:
1) Promote stomata closing. ABA can make the stomata closes rapidly, which has no poison on plants and it is a perfect anti-transpiration agent.
2) Affect flowering. ABA can make the terminal bud of Strawberry and Blackberry dormant, it can also promote flowering in the long sunshine.
3) Affect sexual differentiation. GA can make the female plant becoming male flowers, this effect can be reversed by ABA, but it can not make the female plant becoming male flowers.
4) Inhibit and promote the growth. By outside spraying ABA with high concentration can inhibit the growth of stem, hypocotyls, root, coleoptiles or leaf blade. By spraying ABA with low concentration can promote rooting and strengthen hypocotyl growth, speed-up breed of duckweed, stimulate unisexuality fruit seedlings development.
