Place the flap with the adhesive tapes towards the back, and position it a little higher than the front. Line up the diaper's center with the groin, extending the front part over the belly, and overlapping it with the diaper piece from the back. Use the tapes to fix the diaper, beginning with the bottom tapes.

Lying down position: Set the patient on his/her side, place the open diaper under the body with the flaps and adhesive tapes around their back. Put the patient back to the initial position . Line up the diaper's center with the groin, extend the front part over the belly, then overlap it with the back piece. Use the tapes to fix the diaper, starting with the bottom tapes.
