The Big Bag Filling Machine, a stainless steel cylindrical glove box with glass cover and with two glove ports, provides fully contained, safe and accurate big bag filling. A PTS (or discharge hopper with PTS if appropriate) is placed above the DCS through a flexible sleeve, with the product being transferred contained by a glove box placed directly onto the big bag. The DCS is mounted on a pneumatic lifting column with a pneumatic brake mechanism, to make it safe even in case of pressure supply failure. Control panels are on each side of the DCS, one of which lifts and lowers the frame support, the other with a lift enable button and a switch for the inflatable gasket. To lift or lower the frame support and drum, one must press the appropriate button and release the pneumatic brake.
