Black Oil

Different fractions of oils are produced during coal tar distillation ranging between 180oC and 350oC. The heavier part of the oil is the basic raw material for manufacturing of carbon black. Carbon black oil is used as feed stock in carbon black manufacturing which is used in the Rubber and Tyre industry. Due to higher B.M.C.I. than imported feed stock, carbon black oil is often preferred by carbon black manufacturers. It is also used as a substitute for furnace oil in different industries as it is a commercially cheaper option.
