The tubular slit backing screen provides optimal support for the working screen and maximum flow of molasses between the working screen and the centrifugal basket.

The tubular slit screens are available in a wide range of sizes and shapes. We use as standard 1.0 mm thick stainless steel for this application.
Stabbed liner
N606 backing screen with hexagonal holes. Material 0.5 mm stainless steel. The sandwich wire gauze between backing and top screen increases the life of the top screen.
