Property and application:
Chlorodifuoromethane is a colorless,non-toxic,non-flammable and transparent liquefied gas. It has excellent thermal and chemical properties, and not corrode metals, chlorodifluoromethane is used as pure or in mixture for refrigeration (medium-high temperatures),raw material for PTFE production and intermediate for Halon 1211 production. It is also a blowing agent for extruded polystyrene and polyurethane foams.
