D3/Cr12 is a kind of steel with excellent wear-resisting performance. Mainly used in long-life punching die, blanking die, drawing die, press rolling die etc. It is also used for making various scissors, crushing cutters.
Heat Treatment condition:-
Quench: 950-980A c oil cooling HRCa Y60
Backfire: relieving stress, stable structure 180-200A c two hours HRC60-62;relieving stress, lower hardenss 320-350A c two hours HRC57-58
Anneal: 830-850A c slow cooling
