Diverter system directs an uncontrolled flow from a shallow zone to designated location at drilling rig. We design a simple system to minimize human error or equipment malfunction. The system is controllable with bop control unit available at rig. We provide separate control system for diverter valve operation in case of rig control system failure. Diverter valve is hydraulic actuator operated and quick open / close type to handle shallow well kick condition.
