Electric Holding Ladle

The Stotherm is a fully automatic low energy electrical resistance holding furnaces for the aluminum which has been developed with the cooperation between foundry men and electronic refractory experts. The furnace body is the robust welded steel construction lined with DIDIER high quality insulation materials. The refractory in contract with metal has a high resistance to aluminum oxide formation. Height adjustment of the complete assembly is by means of support legs fitted with jacking screws. Major consideration has been given to functional design and very low power consumption. Power to the furnace by thyristors and a sophisticated electronic temperature and therefore consistent quality. Special pre-shaped STOTEK block elements well know for their robust construction, long life and reliability, are fitted as standard. Element replacement, if necessary, is executed from the side of the furnace by removing the lid. To facilitate unobstructed access for the inspection and cleaning, the entire top of the furnace can be removes using a built-in hydraulic pump. The wall mounted control panel is fitted with easily readable instrument with enable precise and effective control of the metal temperature. An alarm is included for open circuit of incorrectly connected temperature sensors. The ever increasing number of international references confirm that STOTEK stands for quality and reliability.
