Electrically operated Hand Generator backup Lifting Barrier is an electrically operated device for closing the level crossing against road traffic and comprises of an electric motor, operating mechanism, circuit controller, manually operated hand generator, road signals, audible device, boom etc.

ADVANTAGES
Gear mechanism is totally oil selected for smooth operation and operates at high speed ratio to ensure smooth operation of barrier.
The Gear mechanism is such that, the boom connected to the Gear mechanism won't slip during the operation to ensure the safety of the trespassers.
A manual lock release knob is provided to release the lock during manual operation.
Lock knobs are of brass to minimize were & tear and rusting.
Boom is made with 3mm aluminum sheet and joined with 5 mm thick plates, to make it rigid, to with stand the road traffic.

The Barrier operates with 24 V DC, at 3 amp rated current.
24 V DC Low maintenance PMDC motor has been used.
16 amp MCB used for motor protection.
Only 10 sec time needed to close or open the barrier
2.5 sq.m. cables are been used for total wiring for minimum voltage drop.
