Expansion Joints Boards

These Expansion Joints Boards are the most suitable as a shock absorber in the joint slabs of bridges, decks, roads, runway etc. Where the casting of concrete is in slab form wherein sufficient provision for the accommodation of expansion & contraction is adhere to which occurs due to periodical changes in temperature.

For runway & road construction the normal practice is to provide transverse & longitudinal expansion joint of 12 mm, 18 mm & 25 mm thick (depending on lenght of adjustment slabs) i.e. between butting slabs of reinforced concrete at designed intervals, and at intersactions with other constructions i.e. level crossings, bridges etc.
