variety takes about 140 days to mature post seeding and yields an average of
12.6 quintals paddy per acre.

Basmati No. 1 a This variety is about 100 cm tall and gives maximum
yield under high fertility conditions. The texture of the grain is super fine
and non-sticky when cooked. It becomes soft upon cooking and exudes mild aroma.
It takes about 140 days to mature and the yield is 16 quintals paddy per acre.

Basmati 1121 a Pusa Basmati 1121 is famous for longest cooked rice
among all the aromatic varieties of rice. The grains are extra long with
slender appearance. The crop size is about 120 cm tall. It is soft in eating
and exudes remarkable aroma. The basmati variety matures in about 137 days and
yields 13.7 quintal paddy per acre.
