The Garcinia Cambogia Extract is derived from the dried fruit of the Garcinia Cambogia tree which is found in the forests of South India and South East Asia. The main active ingredient is (-) Hydroxycitric Acid (HCA).

Therapeutic Action a Prevents the metabolism of carbohydrates to fats i.e it inhibits lipogenesis.
Burns excess fats.
Suppresses appetite to avoid over eating.
Increases the production of Glycogen in the liver.
Some researchers believe that it increases the production of body heat (thus it burns calories).

Safety a HCA is a naturally occurring compound, hence it is safe to use. In addition to this it does not act upon the Central Nervous System. This means that it is not a stimulant and does not interfere with normal sleep cycles
