Appearance:- A clear, greenish yellow liquid, practically insoluble in water and in alcohol, miscible with light petroleum
Color:- Light green to green liquid.

Unsaponifiable matter:- Not more than 1.5%
Saponification Value:- 182 to 195
Solubility:- Soluble in alcohol and oils. Insoluble in water.
Specific gravity:- 0.917 a 0.925 @ 25A C
Refractive Index:- 1.470 a 1.474 @ 25A C
Oleic Acid Content:- 15 a 20 %
