Operation:
A continuous belt is driven by a geared motor.
The belt is mounted on aluminum drive pulley and supported by DELRIN Tail pulley supported by Spring loaded mechanism or SS 304 dead weight.
Length of the belt is determined based on free board length of the tank to ensure that the belt is always immersed in the liquid.
As the belt passes through the liquid, due to olephilic nature of belt surface, oil gets deposited on the belt surface. Geared motor is used for speed reduction to ensure maximum possible oil deposition.
Adjustable PTFE wiper scrapes oil from belt surface and oil is temporarily collected in decanter tray.
Using differential density, decanter tray removes traces of liquid from oil and recovered oil is sent to the outlet tray. Traces of liquid is drained back to the tank.
