It is used to stop the conveyor belt in the case of emergency and a red LED indicating lamp is been provided, to indicate that the switch is been operated. It is a safety device which is when operated stops the belt conveyor motor and provides audio visual alarm. The lamp provides remote indication of operated switch and makes it easy to locate the operated switch. Low consumption LED lamps are designed for long life.
Pull Cord Switch with Indicating lamp enables the visual display of the operated switch even from the distance. It is housed in dust and weatherproof cast aluminum enclosure with IP 65 Grade of protection. Sturdy & heavy duty cam-switch with robust contacts is used to give longer service life. Cast aluminum operating handle fitted with spring steel rings at both ends is provided for fixing the rope. The design of the rings gives maximum flexibility in operating condition. Enclosure & handle is epoxy painted to give high corrosion resistance. The switch is designed with manual reset type of mechanism. Pull Cord switch is mounted on the walkway side of the conveyor belt, preferably at about every 20 meters of the length. Rope is tied to the end rings of the handle. When the rope is pulled from any side, the switch is operated.
