Industrial Active Solar Water Heater

According to this principal, the water circulates using the natural convection and gravity from the collector to storage tank. The water is heated in the collector and rises into the storage tank as long as the absorber keeps collecting heat. To replace the hot water discharged into the tank, the cold water runs into the collector at the bottom of the storage tank. The circulation is faster when the radiation arriving on the collector is stronger. However, if there is no solar energy incident on the collector, the circulation automatically stops.

Due to the absence of moving parts, using Thermosyphon systems is preferred for simple, inexpensive and low maintenance.
