- Usage: Used for Drying of wet cakes of dyes, pigments, intermediates and various other products where either solvent is to be recovered or drying is to be achieved at relatively low temperature. Rotary Vacuum Dryer is very useful in drying the material in a relatively low time for sticky and difficult to dry products.
- The construction of Rotary Vacuum Dryer contains a central hollow shaft with a specially designed hollow arms which are heated by either stam or Thermic Fluid, rotating in a centrally jacketed shell where-in the gap between shell and jacket is usually 3-7 mm.
- The entire shell area is effectively covered by the scrapper arms leaving no part in the shell where the solids could stick. The results in a continuous agitated drying which reduces the drying time.
