Bangladesh is placed in top ten in the world densely populated country, the density of population is about 1252/sqm2. Bangladesh earns 84% of their foreign currency from garment sector. To reduce the cost of production the automation has been takes place in our modern garment industry thus production rate has been increased significantly & reduces the overhead cost as well. As the production rate is high, this automation leading a higher amount of textile waste & more unemployment creating day by day.
To solve this problem, we a sister concern company of established in 2020 sets up our mind to do something where we can keep some contribution to solve these problem. To make recycle rugs from solid garment waste which are making by hand woven process with the traditional handloom, also creating employment in a bigger industrial chain which are accessible to rural worker.
Our workshop is located 370km far from the capital city Dhaka & 20 min drive from saidpur airport & about 40 min drive from the Uttara EPZ (Nilphamari). We have built our factory in the area to avoid a problematic imbalance between the urban and rural area. Artisans of are 90% of women & within their walking or cycling distance from our workplace so that they no need to pay for transport or accommodation cost.
