Isi Mark Certification For Ready Mixed Paint

This standard specifies the requirements and test methods for Ready Mixed Paint Air Drying Red Oxide Zinc Chrome Priming used for Priming applications.

REQUIREMENTS:

Complete machinery should be available and be in working condition at the time of inspection.
Applicant should be the manufacturer of Ready Mixed Paint Air Drying Red Oxide Zinc Chrome Priming.
A complete set of Testing Lab Equipment is mandatory at factory site.
A Quality Control In-charge (QCI) should be appointed in company for regular testing.
If a manufacturer of READY MIXED PAINT, AIR DRYING, RED OXIDE a ZINC CHROME, PRIMER has more manufacturing units then, license to use or apply ISI Mark, only be granted by BIS for specific manufacturing premises.

PROCEDURE:
1. Registration on BIS Portal.
2. Apply for Testing of Raw materials & Sample in any BIS approved Lab for the IS 2074:2023.
3. Once report is available, apply for inspection at factory site by submitting BIS charges.
4. BIS officer will visit the factory and do inspection. If he gets satisfied then officer will draw the sample for testing, which manufacturer needs to deliver it to said Lab.
5. License granted to the manufacturer.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED:
1. Factory Registration Documents & information (i.e. GST Certificate, MSME Certificate etc.).
2. Identity proof of owner (Aadhar Card).
3. Manufacturing process flow chart.
4. Details of Authorized Signatory and other related documents.
5. Adequate testing facilities as per standard (IS 2074:2023).
6. Documents of Quality Control In-charge.
7.Laboratory testing report and other information as per BIS norm.
