K2 Unifloor gives heavy duty tough abrasion resistant concrete surface. also provides strong monolithic bonding with concrete at green stage.Benefits:Smooth, durable, abrasion & wear resistant concrete floorGood monolithic bond with surfaceNon-metallic, therefore rust proof surfaceVery easy and handy on application at green stage of concretingPrevents damage of floor joints due to heavy traffickingAvailable in range of industrial shades.Properties:Abrasion resistance (IS 1297 - 1980)It improves the abrasion resistance of concrete by 160% when tested as per guidelines of IS: 1237 - 1980Area of applications:Floor subjected to heavy wear and tear, heaviest traffics like work shops, industrial floor, ramps, spill ways and loading bays etc. Application Procedure: Features of Base ConcreteMinimum cement content of 300kg/m for base concrete Concrete design-mix should be free from segregation and bleeding Water Cement ratio should be in controlled with 0.53Initial slump retention should be in between 50mm to 75mm It is recommended to use K2 Reduplast WPA water reducing admixture at the time of concreting The base concrete should be laid and compacted. Dosage Recommended rate of application for low traffic is 3.5Kg/m, Medium traffic 5Kg/m and 7Kg /m for high and heavy load bearing areas. Spreading K2 Unifloor should spread or sprinkle as per the requirement at the point when base concrete get stiffened and light foot traffic leaves an imprint of about 3mm. The bleed water should now have been evaporated. Finishing Finishing should be done with power trowel when the floor gets stiffened sufficiently, so that damage or surface cracks should not be formed. Curing Curing plays an important role for better and long lasting concrete. The most efficient way to get concrete cured is using curing compound or else go for polythene sheeting or water ponding or wet burlaps. Limitations For concrete with optimized water cement ratios, K2 Unifloor shall not be sprinkle over 3-4 Kg/m. Packaging K2 Unifloor is supplied in 25 Kg Polythene Sacks. Storage If kept in original unused packing, the shelf life of K2 Unifloor is 12 Months from the date of manufacturing.
