He shared relations with Shri Vaidyar Kali Pillai who holds rich knowledge of Ayurveda and Herbal Medicines and in 1860s started Raja Rajeswari Pharmacy. From the ancestors, generations of Pillai family has always shown serious approach towards formulating and research and development of several medicines that are adaptable to the today's health care treatments.
