Mono-Dicalcium phosphate formula Ca(H2PO4)2A.H2O+CaHPO4A.2H2O, white crystalline powder, relative density 2.2 (16a ). Slightly hygroscopic, soluble in hydrochloric acid, nitric acid and slightly soluble in cold water, almost insoluble in ethanol. Lose crystal water when heated to about 80a . The aqueous solution appears acidity. It is hydrolyzed to positive dicalcium phosphate when heated. Lose crystal water at 109a , decomposed to calcium metaphosphate at 203a .
