The Honeycomb Filter Products Department is developing honey comb structured carriers made of inorganic fibers. Products that draw on the unique carrying characteristics of these honeycomb filters are used in a widening range of applications. These include dehumidifiers and humidifiers to control humidity in home appliances and in factories, and odor removal filters to make living environments more comfortable. NICHIAS honeycomb filters are capable of adsorbing and concentrating volatile organic compounds (VOCs), which are contained in gas emissions from semiconductor manufacturing equipment, and ammonia gas from clean rooms. Using this ground breaking technology, NICHIAS is able to deliver comfortable living and industrial environments.Moving forward, these two departments and their development sections will be central to creating new products and technologies that will develop inorganic fibers and honeycomb filters into core NICHIAS businesses.
Desiccant Rotor is highly activated silica gel type, impregnated in special fiber sheet and formed in honey comb shape. It is widely used for removal of moisture at normal dehumidification, drying and air-conditioning applications. It has high strength, low density, fire proof, high performance, energy efficient, water washable. MS : Desiccant rotor has large adsorption capacity of synthesized hydrophilic zeolite for ultra low dew point application as plastic drying.
