It is also named as coated magnesium granule, used as desulfurizer and deoxidizing agent in superior steel-making with low sulfur. Its duration of fire resistance is more than 15 seconds in molten iron at 1000-1300 Degrees Centigrade and it can remove the sulfur to less than 0.001%. It is an irreplaceable desulfurizer in improving the quality of the steel. It is used in producing ductile iron; in petroleium extraction industry, it can retore and accelerate the pressure for drilling and the speed of drilling footage. In chemical and military industry, it is uesd as dehydrating agent and combustion adjuvant, and also it is a good metallurgy material of magnesium alloy powder.
