* Base and Arm - Heavy rectangular aluminium alloy casted base on which standard size arm is fixed. A quadruple nose piece with positive click stop is fitted to the arm.
* Observation Tube - Monocular inclined tube rotatable through 360.
* Stage - 120mm x 140mm stage with x-y movement graduated mechanical stage having verinier reading 0.1mm.
* Condenser and Iris-diaphragm - Abbe condenser N.A.1.25 with iris-diaphragm and filter holder is movable by rack and pinion mechanism.
* Focusing - Coarse & fine focusing by separate knobs.
* Illumination - In-built base 6V-20W halogen lamp with intensity control is operated on transformer fitted in the base. The lamp is replaceable by plano-concave mirror dia 50mm for day light working .
* Optics - Achromatic wide field eye-piece 10x & achromatic objectives 4x, 10x, 40x (s) and 100x (s) oil immersion.
