CAPACITOR START INDUCTION RUN MOTOR:
A capacitor is inserted in series with the main winding to reduce the inductive reactance to a low value. An electrolytic capacitor of larger value is used for short time rating. It gets switched off as the motor attains a certain value of full-load speed. It is suitable for loads of higher inertia giving starting torque.
NOTE: Motors in capacitor-start capacitor run, capacitor-start and run design is also available on request.
