GIIB SpeedFlex is the latest innovation by GIIB (pronounced as "Gheeb"). This cushion gum (bonding gum) innovation was developed to cater for the demanding retreading market with feature of curing with fastest speed and with the most flexible inventory planning.

With supporting technology, GIIB SpeedFlex is created with a new unique formulation to drastically reduce the curing time during the curing cycle of the retreading process. With the reduction of the curing time, retreaders are able to save on labor cost to produce similar output. Otherwise, retreaders can also increase their output without additional capital requirement.

Other than curing time reduction, power or utility (steam powered) consumption is also greatly reduced as curing time is cut down. This can translate into savings up to 21%, a significant amount to countries where utility costs are high and limited.

To further enhance retreaders' convenience and operation efficiency, GIIB has come up with an ultra-wide 800 mm cushion gum. One of the most obvious benefits is the flexibility of cutting cushion gum to preferred sizes. Therefore, eliminating the need to stock up for various widths, especially the uncommon size of tyres.
