Balanced Pressure Thermostatic Steam Traps (TST-300) operate on difference in temperature between steam and condensate. The welded stainless steel Bellow (Element) is self-adjusting over its entire range of operating pressure. This element will discharge the condensate at approx 20A C or 10A C below steam saturation temperature depending upon the type of filling filled in the Element. The Element is also resistant to water-hammer.
