Reel Drive Systems are used for spooling and unspooling of rigid and flexible pipes, umbilicals, risers and other products for offshore applications stored on reels. Our reel drive systems consist of two towers one being the drive tower and other being the idle tower. The drive tower gets the driving power from the electrical motor through a gear box configured to achieve the desired rpm. To have better rpm control & achieve various desired rpm on press of a button our RDU systems are fitted with VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) systems. Additionally, these can be availed from us at reasonable costs.
