This ensures that the treated water contains low residual hardness throughout the cycle.KCT softners are ready to install and are manually operated. These softners are available both as standard models and custom built versions for your specific needs.KCT softners utilize a high capacity, strongly acidic cation exchange resin in sodium form as the exchanger, for optimum performance. Scale forming cations (Ca & Mg) hardness ions in water are replaced by sodium ions from the resins to soften water. The resin in turn picks up the hardness ions (Ca & Mg).
