Wastewater Treatment

Whether it is the treatment of wastewater, effluent or contaminated ground water, ACC grades of carbon are the right choice for any kind of purification process. Due to the high internal surface area and specific adsorption capacities, ACC carbon can absorb large quantities of dissolved organics from waste water. Granular carbon filtration is used for removing dissolved, on biodegradable organics using fixed filter beds. Powder carbon is used by mixing it with the sludge for better process stability and improves setting characteristics of the sludge.
