Characteristics: SUPRAMAX-18 (E-7018) is heavy coated, low hydrogen a iron powder, all positions electrodes with very smooth arc, nominal spatter and medium penetration. Extremely ductile weld metal is crack resistant, recommend for heavy structures subjected to dynamic loading & mechanical restraint. Electrode delvers welds of radiographic quality with deposition efficiency of 115% approx.
Application: SUPRAMAX-18 (E-7018) is mainly used for welding heavy structural subject to dynamic load and serves service condition, pressure vessel, boilers, road rollers, Bridges, Ships, Blast Furnaces, Shelts, Rotary kiln Shell, Wagons, Rail Coaches and Heavy restrained joint etc. Specially for IS2062, thickness having beyond 20mm and carbon steel of any thickness
