Ready Mixed Mould Paint 989 Volatile solvent based viscous zircon coating, used for heavy to very heavy alloy steel and cast iron castings, compatible with all kinds of sand binder systems for use in moulds and cores. Viscosity Greater than 110A Baume. Physical Properties a Creamish yellow appearance, high viscosity, very smooth brushability, low dripping. Chemical Properties a Relatively lower volatility, good adherence to substrate, better burning and curing characteristics, greater surface coverage (ensuring lesser consumption), double coat not necessary.
ii. Ready Mixed Mould Paint 545 Volatile solvent based zircon coating, used for heavy to moderately heavy alloy steel (WCB, plain carbon, SS or high alloy steel) castings, compatible with phenolic urethane 3-part alkyd resin systems, sodium silicates and CNSL or core oils for use in moulds or cores. Viscosity a 60A -65A Baume. Also available in paste form.
iii. Ready Mixed Mould Paint 121 Volatile solvent based zircon coating, used for light to moderately heavy WCB castings, compatible with phenolic urethanes, sodium silicates and CNSL or core oil system for use in moulds or cores. Viscosity a 60A -65A Baume. Also available in paste form.
