Indications:

Zotax is exceptionally active in vitro against Gram -ve organisms sensitive or resistant to 1st or 2nd generation cephalosporins. It is similar to other cephalosporins in activity against Gram +ve organisms

Particularly useful for LRTI infections, as well as infections of the urinary and biliary tract, skin and soft tissue infections, and in serious conditions, such as meningitis, particularly in paediatric patients

Zotax has frequently exhibited useful in vitro activity against Pseudomonas and Bacteroides species although some strains of Bacteroides fragilis are resistant.
