Q. Between 304 and 316 grades, which one is better stainless steel?
Answer
Due to high resistance to chemical and chlorides 316 grade is, sometimes, considered better than 304. 316 grade performs better in chlorinated solutions or exposure to salt. However, 304 grade has a higher melting point than 316. Although both have different advantages, the performance depends on the type of environment in which they operate.
