Answer

Only the seeds of cardamom are eaten, if you eat as a whole chances are the small particles of pods will stick between your teeth and it is hard as compared to the seeds, in spite of that you can grind the whole green cardamom in the mixer and when it converts into powder form use it in preparing recipes, tea or can be consumed with drinks.
