Q. How do you test a film capacitor?
Answer
Set the multimeter to measure in the high ohms region, between 10k and 1m ohms, to test the capacitor. Connect the metre leads—red to positive and black to negative—to the capacitor's corresponding leads. The metre should begin at zero and gradually increase to infinity.
