Q. How does a humidity chamber work?
Answer
Condensation, rather than freezing, will occur when moisture in the chamber comes into contact with the cold surface. The relative humidity is decreased by draining the collected water from the chamber. In order to simulate real-world levels of moisture and humidity, atomizer test chambers are outfitted with a spray nozzle that emits atomized water. Immersion heaters within a steam generator's chamber bring the water temperature up to steaming levels. Humidity is produced by a tank of water whose steam rises to the top of the chamber, where it is heated. There is no need for a box to contain a water bath testing chamber; it functions in the same way as a steam generator.
