Analgesics drugs are normally used to relieve pain and inflammation. For example, after surgery, patients are given analgesic drug, or if someone gets some kind of injury like fractured bone, this drug becomes mandatory. For severe or acute pain because of twisted ankle or headache, or aches and pains like menstrual cramps or muscle soreness, analgesic drugs are prescribed. Doctors prescribe analgesic drugs against chronic painful conditions such as arthritis, cancer or back pain.
