Q. What exactly is a clock in a CPU?
Answer
The CPU clock determines the processor's speed (in Hz unit). The quicker the CPU, the higher is the rate. A 1.5 GHz CPU, for example, may oscillate 15,00,000,000 times in one second, but a 3GHz processor can oscillate twice as many times as the first processor.
