Q. What happens when you hit the antenna in volleyball?
Answer
There is no way for the ball to touch the antenna. That automatically disqualifies it from further consideration. If giving it some thought, the ball hitting the antenna will often bounce back inward, giving the hitter an unfair advantage. When the ball goes outside of the playing field and touches the antennas or the net. If the ball is struck wide, beyond the antenna, the player must play it back toward their side of the court and, if they have enough hits remaining, attempt to hit the ball across the net into the space between the two antennae.
