Q. What is the difference between ferrous and non-ferrous metal detector?

Ferrous metals contain iron while non-ferrous metals don’t. Also, the former is heavier than non-ferrous counterparts. A non-ferrous metal detector can detect gold, aluminium, lead, copper and other pure metals.
