Q. What is the difference between gun drilling machine and BTA drilling?
Answer
In a gun drilling machine, the pressurized coolant is fed through the internal hole which flows back outside the drill, removing chips from the hole. On the other hand, the coolant is introduced around the outer surface of cutting tool which carry away chips through a centre tube.
