Nitrogen generators function by in taking atmospheric air, compressing it, filtering it and passing it through adsorbents i.e., either PSA (pressure swing adsorption) or CMS (carbon molecular sieve) mechanism. Thereafter, high-purity nitrogen gas in produced. CMS produces ultra high-purity nitrogen gas.
