Commercial plywood is of the MR (moisture resistant) grade. Please keep in mind that "moisture proof" is not synonymous with "waterproof." It simply indicates that the plywood can endure particular moisture and humidity level. Marine plywood is waterproof plywood that is primarily used in the marine industry.
