Q. Who founded Infinity speakers?
Answer
Arnie Nudell, John Ulrick, and Cary Christie is the founder of Infinity speakers. Infinity Systems is an American speaker company with roots in Los Angeles and current operations out of Stamford, Connecticut. Infinity has been a part of Harman International Industries since 1983; in 2017, Harman was acquired by Samsung Electronics. The Servo-Static speaker system was the company's initial offering. Both the EMIT (electromagnetic induction tweeter) & EMIM (electromagnetic induction midrange) speakers were first released by Infinity in the late '70s. These quasi-ribbons were flat and used electromagnetic induction to propel air. In 1991, in Seattle, Nudell departed to create Genesis Technologies, a premium loudspeaker manufacturer.
