This enables them to keep dropping the items they wish to purchase into their cart, and then proceed for billing. Carry bags are chargeable, and plastic bags are banned. Generally, people find it more convenient to place the purchased items in the boot of their car. However, the problem lies in the fact that their cars are in the parking lot, so they tend to use the trolley to carry their items from the supermarket till the parking lot where the car is parked. Once they load the items into their boot, they end up leaving the supermarket trolley in the parking lot and drive away. That is the reason why, you will see someone from the supermarket being entrusted the responsibility to collect all trolleys and bring it back to the supermarket.
