About Venue
Welcome to the Janata Maidan Bhubaneswar, it is the public ground which is located in Bhubaneswar, the capital city of the Indian state of Odisha. Now it has become a popular venue for conducting various events and exhibitions, trade shows, trade fairs and sports events. This ground has spread an area of 10 acres and it can arrange a seating capacity of a large number of people.
It is also providing several facilities, including an open-air theater, an indoor stadium and a children&s park. This stadium can provide seating for up to 7,000 people and it is used for many exhibitions, sports events such as volleyball, basketball and badminton. It has a capacity of 5,000 people and till now it has hosted many cultural and music concerts.
It has also hosted the famous annual trade fair and exhibition as "Odisha State Fair," since 1983. It is a 10 day exhibition which showcases various products from different industries such as handlooms, agriculture, handicrafts and tourism. Overall it has become a popular destination for hosting many exhibitions and trade fairs for many exhibitors in India.
