BIMSTEC EXPO – 2017 is organised by Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) is scheduled to take place from 15-17 September 2017 at Netaji Indoor Stadium, Kolkata, West Bengal. BIMSTEC EXPO-2017 is an ideal Forum to have both policy level Interaction/ Representation and business to business opportunities as well. BIMSTEC provides a unique link between South Asia and Southeast Asia bringing together 1.3 billion people, 21 percent of the world population, a combined GDP of around US $ 750 billion, and a considerable amount of complementarities. The main objective of this unique show would be to highlight important products and services of BIMSTEC countries. ‘BIMSTEC Expo – 2017’ would create a platform wherein more than 250 companies from BIMSTEC countries, along with local Indian companies will participate and display/launch their products.

About Venue

Welcome to Netaji Indoor Stadium, It is kolkatas premier indoor stadium with world class infrastructure. The facility seats 12,000 people. This indoor stadium is located just beside the Eden Gardens. The stadium was constructed with the intention of hosting the World Table Tennis Championship.The NIS has a perimeter wall with outer access gates. It has inner exits (gates) to provide entry to the indoor playing arena. The stadium has become famous for its suspension roof design. NIS boasts of its multifunctional and flexible areas and of its capability to host different kinds of sports events. The venue was inaugurated in 1975 by the then Chief Minister of West Bengal, Siddhartha Shankar Ray, for indoor games and cultural events, musical functions and other programmes.
